Is this you?
- You can see a line or split in the pink part
- It flexes or clicks when you bite
- It still fits, but the crack is getting longer
Before you come in
- Stop biting hard food on it
- Do not try to glue or tape the crack
- Bring it in sooner rather than later, before it snaps
What we do
We check the crack
Our technician looks at how far it runs and whether the fit has moved.
We open and fill it
The crack is cleaned out and filled with denture acrylic, cured in our lab so it is strong again.
We polish it back
Smooth and finished, then back to you in the lounge.
All done in our own lab, right behind reception, so your denture never leaves the building. How a visit works
Questions people ask
Something else? Call us on 01698 682109, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Is it worth fixing a small crack?
Yes. A crack tends to grow, and a cracked denture is easier to repair than one that has snapped. It also costs less, as you can see on our prices.
Why did my denture crack?
Most cracks come from a drop, or from a denture that has become loose so the bite presses on one spot. If yours feels loose, ask us about a reline while you are here.
How long does a crack repair take?
Most are ready in under an hour while you wait.
Can I keep wearing it until I come in?
If it still fits and nothing is sharp, go gently and avoid hard foods. If it rubs or has a sharp edge, take it out and bring it in.
