Denture reline for a loose denture

Your gums change shape over the years, so a denture that once fitted can start to slip or rub. A reline reshapes the inside so it fits snugly again.

£160per arch, £320 for both, paid once it is fixed, free to cancel anytime

Or just walk in. No.46 Merry Street, Motherwell.

What we do

  1. We take an impression

Using your own denture, we take the shape of your gums as they are now.

  2. We reline it in our lab

New acrylic is added to the fitting side so it matches your gums.

  3. We check it in your mouth

We make sure it sits snugly and comfortably before you go.

All done in our own lab, right behind reception, so your denture never leaves the building. How a visit works

What is a denture reline?

It adds new material to the side of your denture that sits on your gums, so it matches their shape again. The teeth and the look of your denture stay the same.

How do I know if I need one?

If your denture slips, rubs, traps food or needs a lot of fixative, a reline usually helps. A loose denture is also more likely to crack, so it is worth doing.

How long does a reline take?

A reline takes a little longer than a simple repair. We will tell you the time when you arrive.

Is the price for one denture or both?

The price is per arch, so for the upper or the lower. Both together is shown on this page too.
