Definition of Booking
- A "booking" is the act of reserving a repair service with us. This can be done online, by phone, by email or in person.
- By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate.
- We reserve the right to cancel a booking or deny service if we believe the information given was false or incomplete.
- The person named in the booking must attend the appointment in person unless we have been contacted and have given approval for someone to attend on their behalf.
- Unauthorised visitors will not be allowed entry.
- We are not responsible for anyone attending on behalf of the customer without our prior consent.
Appointments and Payments
- Appointments can be made online, by phone, by email or in person.
- Full payment is required at the appointment before any work is started.
- If payment is not made in advance, the repair will not be carried out.
- We accept payment by cash, debit or credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna and ClearPay.
- If we assess your denture and find it unsuitable or unsafe to repair, we will not carry out the work. No charge will be made in that case.
- All prices are listed clearly online and at our premises. They are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or change your appointment at no cost by giving at least one working day’s notice.
- If you are late, we may not be able to complete the repair within the usual timeframe and may need to reschedule.
Services and Repairs
- We repair cracked dentures, broken teeth, lost teeth and loose-fitting dentures.
- All work is carried out by GDC-registered technicians in our MHRA-compliant UK laboratory.
- We only use CE-marked materials from approved UK suppliers.
- Processes follow ISO 13485 and HTM 01-05 hygiene guidance.
- Most repairs are completed within approximately 1 hour. Times may vary depending on complexity.
Dental Impressions
- Depending on the type of repair or the condition of your denture, we may require a new dental impression to complete the work correctly.
- If an impression is needed, it will be taken during your appointment by a trained professional.
- Refusal to provide an impression when requested may result in us being unable to proceed with the repair.
- Any additional costs will be clearly discussed with you before taking the impression.
- We will always explain the purpose and make the process as comfortable as possible.
Repair Refusals and Limitations
- We do not repair dentures made of metal, including cobalt chrome or any appliance with a metal framework.
- We do not repair dentures that have previously been glued, altered or fixed at home using adhesives or DIY kits. These cause structural damage and prevent proper repairs.
- We reserve the right to refuse any repair at our discretion. No charge will apply if work is not started.
- All repairs are final. Due to the nature of denture materials and wear and tear, no guarantees are offered.
- If a denture breaks again after being repaired, a new appointment and new fee will apply.
- Repairs are made to restore basic function, not to return the denture to new condition.
- We are not responsible for discomfort, poor fit or breakages that happen after collection unless caused by a clear error in our work.
- If you are unhappy with the result, you must inform us before leaving the premises.
- Once you have left, we are not responsible for changes in fit or further breakages.
- Dentures must be collected on the same day unless agreed otherwise. If a denture is not collected within 30 days, we reserve the right to dispose of it.
Mail-in Repairs
- If using our postal repair service, dentures must be packaged securely in a hard container such as Tupperware.
- We are not liable for any damage during transit. Poor packaging is the customer’s responsibility.
- Return postage charges will be confirmed during booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse repairs that arrive broken beyond repair or show signs of previous DIY work.
Use of Our Premises
- You enter our premises at your own risk.
- We are not responsible for personal accidents, injuries or illnesses sustained while on-site.
- We are not liable for any reaction to food or drink consumed at our café.
- You are responsible for your own belongings. We are not liable for lost or damaged personal property.
- We operate in a clean, professional and safe environment, but you accept full responsibility for your own welfare while on the premises.
Aftercare and Hygiene
- We will provide verbal instructions for care after your repair.
- It is your responsibility to follow these and to avoid damage caused by misuse.
- We are not liable for infection, irritation or gum issues that may result from wearing dentures that do not suit your mouth or oral condition.
- We recommend regular dental check-ups to ensure your denture remains suitable and safe for use.
Data Protection
- All customer records are handled in line with GDPR regulations.
- We store only what is necessary to carry out your service and contact you if required.
- We never sell or share your information with third parties without consent.
- All data is securely stored in accordance with GDC standards.
Liability
- We do not accept responsibility for loss of income, travel costs, dental problems or dissatisfaction related to your appliance once it has been repaired and collected.
- We are not liable for further breakages, discomfort or outcomes that result from previous damage, misuse or poor oral health.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website and at our premises.
